Providing A Food Source
It warms my heart when I see eaten leaves and flowers in my garden. It means that I've provided a food source for some insects that need it.
In the image below, the Tibouchina flowers are being munched on by a Tussock Moth Caterpillar.
Our gardens don't need to be "perfect" - there are plenty of leaves and flowers for both us and the insects to enjoy!
